MS Dhoni named as the first T20 Captain of Team India in T20 World Cup 2007. He then became the ODI captain after Rahul Dravid relinquished the post, and eventually, ascended to full-time Test captaincy once current India coach, Anil Kumble retired. Why MS Dhoni Quit Team India Captaincy in ODI and T20
Board of Control for Cricket in India confirmed in a press release that he has informed the BCCI, that he wishes to step down as the captain of the Indian Cricket Team from the ODI and the T20I formats of the game. This is not an easy decision for MS Dhoni. But it’s true friends we will never see Dhoni as team India captain again. But he will play as a player in team.

Everybody is in shock that why MS Dhoni quit team India captaincy just before the ODI and T20 series against England in January 2017. But most of the former cricketer applaud for MS Dhoni decision. According to me, MS is now want to remove some burden from his shoulder and want to play as his style. You will see world’s best finisher in ODI and T20 series against England.
