ICC Awards 2021 Nominations, Winners, Live Telecast

The ICC Awards are a pack of awards of annual sports for international cricket, which titles, honors, and respects the recognized international cricket players for their performance throughout the last 12 months. International Cricket Council rewards these honors and awards to the players since the first started on 7 September 2004. These awards got well known between 2009 and 2014 as the LG ICC Awards for sponsorship.

And coming to the excitement, the seventeenth edition of the ICC Awards is nowhere near the 2021 ICC Awards. The nominators took the account of the performance of players from 1 January 2021 till 31 December 2022. According to the latest updates, the announcement of the awards winning players of the ICC World XI Teams will take place on 17 and 18 January 2022.

The announcement of the women’s awards will take place on the auspicious day of 23 January 2022. The ICC Umpire of the Year Award will be declared on 24 January 2022. And on the same day of the 24th, The Spirit of Cricket award in addition to winners of the men’s individual ICC Awards will also be declared.

ICC Awards 2021 Nominations

The shortlist and nominations of the ICC Awards 2021 were declared from 28th December to 31st December 2021. Geoff Allardice, the ICC’s CEO, along with the other board members of the Selection Committee shortlisted the nominees by the AWARDS PANEL, which consists of the prominent and extravagant cricket journalists and broadcasters all around and across the globe. The Voting Academy played a vital role by voting for their first, second, and third choices of every category.

This Voting Academy consists of the same. The vibrant step was taken by opening a portal or a channel of voting where the fans’ votes will be considered as ICC’s digital votes. In every first seven categories, the voting academy’s results and the fans’ vote results will be combined to declare the winner. Therefore the nominees are:-
