The domestic cricket competition is modeled along the lines of the popular Indian Premier League (IPL). Tamil Nadu Premier League has start it’s maiden season on 24 August 2016. The fifth season of TNPL is going to start from 19 July 2021. There are 8 teams in Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL).
